Bolts Buzz: There's A New Sheriff in Town

Last summer, Cardale Jones was appointed as an honorary deputy sheriff of Ottawa County in Ohio.  With the offseason in full swing, he's been back fulfilling that role for a second-straight year.

So, what will Jones be doing?

"Cardale will be helping us to make sure we have the bond with our young people," Sheriff Steve Levorchick told the Port Clinton News Herald. "They don't want to hear from a 55-year-old sheriff, but they'll listen to Cardale."

Jones is already hard at work having spoken at the Trinity United Church of Christ Men's Father-Son Banquet in Elliston last week.

Keep it tuned to Chargers.com next week as we'll have more from Jones on his new gig.

It's common knowledge the Chargers and Rams are slated to move into the Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park for the 2020 season, but did you know they're getting a new neighbor the following year?

Yep, it's official.  The NFL announced this week at the annual league meetings in Orlando that NFL Network, NFL.com, the NFL app and NFL RedZone will move into a 200,000-square foot space in Inglewood.  The NFL Media facilities are slated to open in summer 2021.

As Rich Eisen says, punters are people, too.  While Austin Ekeler has been constantly documenting his trips to the gym this offseason, Drew Kaser posted a video of him getting some work in on the field, too.
