Trevor Williams enjoyed quite a rookie season for the Chargers, ascending from undrafted free agent to the practice squad to the active roster just five games into the season. And by the time it was all said and done, Williams would play in 12 games and make five starts.

A two-time honorable mention All-Big Ten choice at Penn State, Williams finished his rookie season in San Diego with 29 tackles and five passes defensed.

2016: Combined with Darrell Stuckey to down punt at three early in fourth quarter Oct. 13 vs. Denver...on very next play, Caraun Reid drew hold in end zone for safety and 21-3 lead...late fourth quarter Nov. 13 vs. Miami, pass defensed in end zone on 3rd-and-goal from 9 prevented go-ahead TD and forced tying field goal try...fumble recovery and fourth-quarter pass defensed with near interception in 21-13 win at Houston Nov. 27.

COLLEGE: Two-time honorable mention All-Big Ten as junior and’s Ridge Riley Memorial Award as senior...played in 49 career games with 31 starts...Big Ten Co-Defensive Player of Week after two interceptions in 13-10 win over Rutgers in 2014...played cornerback from 2013-15, totaling 84 tackles, 30 passes defensed and four interceptions...played wide receiver in 2012 and caught 10 passes for 97 yards...first-career interception with 1:56 left in fourth quarter helped seal 23-17 win over Syracuse in 2013 season-opener at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey...played at Penn State from 2012-15...recreation, parks and tourism management degree.
