4/27/08 – Selected LSU running back Jacob Hester in the third round (69th overall) of the NFL Draft. Pick was acquired in a trade with New England, which received a fifth-round pick (160) in the 2008 draft plus a 2009 second-round pick in exchange for the 69th selection.
Selected UTEP running back Marcus Thomas in the fifth round (166), Boston College cornerback DeJuan Tribble in the sixth round (192) and Texas A&M offensive tackle Corey Clark in the seventh round (234) of the 2008 NFL Draft.
4/26/08 – Selected Arizona cornerback Antoine Cason, the 2007 Jim Thorpe Award winner as college football’s top defensive back, with the 27th overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft.
