A former undrafted rookie who worked his way up from the practice squad, Adrian Phillips has become a mainstay in the Chargers’ secondary.

Philips played in 14 games while making six starts in 2016. He ranked fourth in tackles among the secondary and pulled in his second career interception. It came against former Chargers quarterback Drew Brees.

In his free time, Phillips enjoys traveling to tropical destinations, bike riding, playing golf and basketball, and spending time at the beach.

His brother, Byron Phillips, played running back at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, and the University of North Texas.
