Leadership Team - School Grant Selection Committee

Working with the County Office of Education for almost two decades, Chargers Champions has brought together key business, community and education leaders to assist with the selection of the annual school grants.

The Leadership Team meets as a group and reviews all grant submissions which have passed the first-round review. This first round review ensures all applications are complete, have been submitted properly and meet the stated guidelines and spirit of the program. Partially completed grant applications or applications with missing information are not considered.

The Leadership Team then reviews each remaining application on its own merits and selects a group of finalists. After the finalists have been selected, site visits are scheduled to ensure accuracy of grant applications before finalizing decisions on grant awards.
