Snoop & Housh Football Leauge

Presented by The Los Angeles Chargers Impact Fund and Nike, in partnership with renowned music icon Snoop Dogg and 11-year NFL veteran wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh, the Snoop & Housh Flag Football League launched its inaugural season.The league, operated through NFL Flag, has leagues placed across the Los Angeles area. Formed to empower youth athletes in their ability to develop football skills, build self-esteem, and learn the importance of teamwork in a safe, fun, inclusive environment, the Snoop & Housh Flag Football League is open to Pre-K through 8th grade boys and girls of all skill levels. NFL Flag Regional Tournaments

Sponsored by Oakley, the Chargers have hosted four years of Regional Tournaments with NFL Flag, each featuring 72 boys' and girls' teams ranging from ages 8 to 18. The event showcases over 700 athletes, with winning teams from eleven divisions earning Oakley glasses and the opportunity to represent the Chargers at the 2024 NFL Flag Championships this summer in Canton, Ohio. This summer's NFL Championship Games will be televised for the first time ever on ESPN, ESPN+, and ABC.

San Diego Unified Flag Football League

The Chargers, in collaboration with the San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD), helped launch the middle school flag football league. As part of their ongoing partnership with SDUSD, the Chargers contributed by providing essential startup flag kits for participating schools and helped purchase customized team jerseys. This collaborative effort supports the involvement of over 1,600 middle school boys and girls from 60 schools in the SDUSD middle school flag football program.The team has also hosted two fall kickoff events for the SDUSD middle school flag football program. The events, attended by 250 student-athletes, marked the beginning of the upcoming flag football season in SDUSD middle schools.

Flag Camps

To increase access to the sport of football and grow the game, the Chargers have supported over 30 different flag football camps and clinics for boys and girls throughout Southern California. These camps have varied from high-level skills training to the basic introduction of flag football.
