Chargers Make Four Roster Moves; Place Dexter McCluster on NFL-I List

The San Diego Chargers made four roster moves on Saturday, signing ILB Deon King and WR Isaiah Burse off the practice squad, placing RB/KR Dexter McCluster on the "Reserve-Non Football Injury" list with a fractured forearm and waiving T Tyreek Burwell.

King initially joined the Bolts on Oct. 4 after beginning the season on the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad.  He played in all four preseason games for Dallas, starting one game and totaling 11 tackles.  The 6-0, 225-pound inside linebacker was a consensus first-team All-American last year at Norfolk State, recording 163 tackles as he won the Buck Buchanan Award as the top defensive player in FCS football.  The Bolts now have the last two reigning winners of the award as Kyle Emanuel won it in 2014 with North Dakota State.

Burse joins the 53-man roster for the third time this season.  The 5-10, 187-pound wideout was a healthy inactive Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs, and suited up Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Week 8 at the Denver Broncos.  The Fresno State product caught six passes for 72 yards and a TD this preseason.

McCluster joined the Chargers prior to Week 3 after Danny Woodhead was lost for the year with an ACL injury.  He caught seven passes for 36 yards while also serving as the team's primary returner.  McCluster is averaging 20.2 yards on nine kickoff returns along with eight punt returns for 57 yards.

Burwell initially signed with the Bolts as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati in 2015.  He appeared in three games this season.
