Chargers on TV and Radio

The San Diego Chargers television lineup features plenty of prime-time coverage in 2008 as the Bolts are again the focus of NBC 7/39’s Football Night in San Diego.  The show airs each Sunday during the regular season following NBC’s weekly prime-time Sunday Night Football game.

NBC 7/39 sports anchors Jim Laslavic and Jim Stone host Football Night in San Diego.  The show features extensive Chargers highlights, player interviews and a recap of that day’s game, as well as several interactive elements in which viewers can participate.

Chargers Gameday returns to KFMB 8 and airs each Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m.  Chargers Gameday is hotesed by KFMB Sports Director Kyle Kraska and former Chargers linebacker Billy Ray Smith.

The Chargers have already appeared in two nationally-televised primetime games this season and are scheduled to appear in three more.  They’ll be on NBC’s “Football Night in America” on Nov. 23 against Indianapolis and Dec. 21 at Tampa Bay.  The Bolts’ Dec. 4 Thursday Night contest will air on the NFL Network, and Fox 5 San Diego will broadcast the game locally.

The Bolts’ remaining road contests and home games against AFC opponents will air on KFMB-TV (Channel 8) locally, and their Nov. 30 home game against Atlanta will broadcast on Fox 5 San Diego locally.

On Radio, all Chargers games are broadcast on the team’s flagship station, Rock 103.5 FM, with Josh Lewin enjoying his fourth season as the play-by-play voice of the Chargers and former Bolts running back Hank Bauer providing color commentary.  Jim Laslavic will report from the sidelines during all Chargers home games.  The Chargers’ partnership with Rock 105.3 also includes programming and promotional relationships with all seven Clear Channel stations in San Diego.

Fans outside of North America can watch nearly every Chargers regular season game live and in its entirety on www.nfl.com/nflgamepass. This service is not available in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, U.S. Territories, Bermuda, Antigua or the Bahamas.
