The Chargers are hard at work preparing for a pivotal showdown with the Denver Broncos.
However, another major game on the horizon is now set to take the national stage as the NFL announced the Bolts' Week 13 game at the Pittsburgh Steelers has been flexed to Sunday night. Kickoff is now set for 5:20pm PT and the game will air on NBC.
It makes sense that the NFL would put the Chargers and Steelers in primetime. Los Angeles has won six-straight and currently owns the second-best record in the AFC (7-2). Meanwhile, Pittsburgh has won five in a row and leads the AFC North with a 6-2-1 record.
This marks the second Chargers game the NFL has flexed onto the national stage as they previously announced the Week 16 contest against the Baltimore Ravens will take place on Saturday, Dec. 22 at 5:30pm PT. The Chargers will also face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 15 on Thursday Night Football, meaning the Bolts will play in primetime three times in December.
