80 volunteers from the Bolts Community Crew – powered by Pacific Premier Bank – supported Village for Vets in painting and beautifying over 120 transitional shelters for military Veterans experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles.

Wide receiver Keenan Allen joined rapper Snoop Dogg for Snoop Special Stars Camp, a program which provides children with special needs with a safe place where they can play sports. Allen stopped by the camp in LA to coach the kids and even learn a few of their dance moves.

The Chargers held a Chargers PREP Youth Football Camp through the Chargers Impact Fund, SkyOne Federal Credit Union, and Sonesta Hotels. The camp guided participants through technique drills and culminated in a tournament between the teams. Chargers players Donald Parham, Matt Feiler, Christian Covington and more served as special guests, helping coach the athletes and signing autographs after the camp.

The Chargers partnered with American Airlines to hold the annual Take Charge Summit for high school football players from the Greater LA area who were rising seniors. This summit, which took place at SoFi Stadium, featured guest speakers from American Airlines and Chargers players Asante Samuel Jr. and Joshua Palmer and focused on building the leadership qualities of these young athletes.

This past weekend, the Los Angeles Chargers Impact Fund hosted Chargers PREP Youth Football Camp, a one-day camp for 250 young athletes to develop and prepare their skills for the next level of football at the Bolts practice field in Costa Mesa.

The Chargers held their second annual Nike 11-On event at Long Beach Poly High School, in which local boys and girls prep football programs came together to go through drills, compete, and receive guidance from special guest Rashawn Slater.

The Chargers hosted their second annual Nike 11-On event this past weekend at Long Beach Poly High School. Boys and Girls prep football programs from throughout Southern California were on hand to hear from All-Pro LT Rashawn Slater before competing in 7v7 drills, lineman challenges, character discussions and team building exercises.

This past weekend, the Los Angeles Chargers teamed up with the UCLA Bruins football team and officers from the Los Angeles Police Department to host Play60 for 200 youths at South Park Rec Center in Los Angeles.

Earlier this month, the Bolts opened the doors to their practice facility – Hoag Performance Center – to over 200 educators, parks/rec staff, parents and youth football coaches for a day of education and training. Chargers corporate partner Lazy Dog provided lunch and the Chargers Impact Fund teamed up with the Dick's Sporting Goods Foundation and GENYOUth to provide flag football kits to attendees as a way to help implement flag football into their respective schools and communities.

This week, the Los Angeles Chargers Impact Fund, JK Scott, Josh Harris, and Chargers Pup Brisket hosted a First Downs for First Books book giveaway and reading event for kids at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Los Angeles' Challengers Clubhouse.

Over 60 Southern California youth football organizations received these grants which help children stay active and enjoy the fun and fitness of America's favorite sport. 

Last week, the Chargers and Marcellus Wiley hosted a pizza party and donated brand new football cleats and gloves to every single high school football player in Compton.

Last weekend, the Chargers teamed up with American Airlines to host their annual _Take Charge_Summit for local high school football players from 50 schools throughout the Greater LA area. The student-athletes were hosted in the Bolts' locker room at SoFi Stadium where they discussed topics such as leadership, character, healthy relationships, social media awareness, and more with Chargers players Asante Samuel Jr. and Joshua Palmer. Participants will complete service projects in their community over the Summer months to earn tickets to a Bolts' home game in the Fall.

The Bolts Community Crew, powered by Pacific Premier Bank, and Chris Rumph II joined with Heal the Bay in a Dockweiler Beach clean up where they gathered 475lbs of trash to support cleaner water and safer beaches for our community.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Title IX, the Chargers and Nike collaborated to hold a pilot girls flag football season for eight high schools across Los Angeles. The season included custom Nike jerseys for each team, a behind the scenes tour of SoFi Stadium, and a tournament culminating in a championship held at the Super Bowl Experience at downtown LA on Super Bowl weekend.

Over this past weekend, the Chargers and the California Office of Traffic Safety joined forces to raffle off bikes to Sigma Gamma Rho's Youth Symposium at California State University Long Beach. The Chargers and OTS collaborated to discuss bike safety tips and traveling safely while providing photo opportunities and giveaways as students participated in workshops centered around gaining lifelong skills.

Through the sponsorship, these schools will have access to football coaching education, player development, and fundraising resources.
