In his 24th season with the Chargers, O'Connor is responsible for all aspects of stadium operations, including parking, security, game presentation, entertainment, BoltVision, audio, scoreboard operations and fan interactive areas. He also coordinates special events and acts as the team’s liaison with management and concessionaire of Qualcomm Stadium. O'Connor has worked for the NFL at the last 14 Super Bowls.
In 2012, he coordinated the Junior Seau memorial tribute at Qualcomm Stadium attended by an estimated 20,000 fans.
Before joining the Chargers, he was the director of sales and an account executive with the San Diego Sockers of the Major Indoor Soccer League.
O'Connor was born in Buffalo, New York, and attended St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute in Buffalo. He graduated with a degree in business administration from the University of San Diego in 1982 where he played wide receiver for the Toreros.
