Assistant Director of Pro Scouting

Bio

Promoted to assistant director of pro scouting in 2011, Cox scouts and evaluates all NFL players and pro free agents, including those playing in the Arena and Canadian Football Leagues. Additionally, Cox helps prepare advance scouting reports of weekly opponents for the coaching staff. He was promoted to pro scout in 2006 after working as a scouting intern in '04 and a pro and college scouting assistant in '05.

Cox was born in San Diego and attended La Costa Canyon High School where he was an all-league wide receiver and defensive back. He was elected captain and named team MVP as a senior. Cox graduated from San Diego State in 2003 with a degree in business administration.
