Bio

Schilling (6-5, 308) is a rookie offensive tackle.
A two-time honorable mention All-Big Ten choice out of Michigan, Schilling became the second Wolverine selected by the Chargers during the 2011 NFL Draft, joining linebacker and second-round draft pick Jonas Mouton.

Schilling was a four-year starter who played both right tackle and left guard, and he was a three-time winner of the Hugh R. Rader Jr. Memorial Award as the University of Michigan’s top offensive lineman. Schilling redshirted as a true freshman in 2006 and then went on to start 49 games over the next four seasons.
