Bio

Battle joins the Chargers after spending the last five seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The 6-2, 238-pound runner and special teams standout came to the NFL and the Chiefs as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2007 out of the University of Houston. In 2011 he made significant contributions as a ball carrier, rushing for 597 yards and two touchdowns while adding nine receptions for 68 yards. Battle has rushed for 715 yards and four touchdowns on 190 carries during his NFL career.
