In the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Chargers selected All-ACC honorable mention safety Rayshawn Jenkins from the University of Miami.
After a preseason injury in 2014 that derailed his year, Jenkins played in 26 games with 19 starts to cap off his career.
His senior year he ranked third on the team with 76 tackles (56 solo) and finished with 4.5 tackles for loss. Jenkins led the team with two interceptions and ranked second with seven pass breakups and also added 1.5 sacks.
Was fourth on the team with 52 tackles in 2015. Ranked second on team with three interceptions. Had four PBUs and one fumble recovery.
Three-star recruit by ESPN, Rivals, and Scout. Rated as No. 27 safety prospect by Rivals and No. 40 according to ESPN.
