Defensive end Chris McCain is back for a second season with the Chargers after spending the latter part of 2016 on the Bolts’ practice squad.
McCain played collegiately at Cal, where one of his teammates was Keenan Allen, before spending time as a pro with Miami, Dallas and New Orleans before his joining the Chargers.
He’s appeared in 20 games during his career.
