Alexa is thrilled to be back in Southern California. This is her first year as a member of the San Diego Charger Girls and her second dancing professionally in the NFL. She recently moved from Boston, Massachusetts, but considers herself a California girl at heart, and enjoys taking advantage of the active lifestyle that Southern California offers. Off the field you can find her surfing, jet skiing, snowboarding, catching up with old friends or exploring the San Diego area. Alexa’s dedication and devotion to helping others is commendable. She is actively involved with the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, an organization established by her mother and father in support of her brother, who was diagnosed with autism at the age of three. She also supports Christopher's Haven, a non-profit that provides housing for families who bring their children in for cancer treatment and Kevin Youkilis' Hits for Kids, a charitable organization dedicated to the well being of children. In addition to her philanthropic endeavors, she has numerous hobbies and interests, including a strong love for the arts. Alexa has been dancing nearly all her life and has had extensive training in styles ranging from ballet to hip-hop. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Liberal Arts from Dean College School of Dance. Alexa is thrilled to be among such a remarkable group of women this season and is enthusiastic to share her love for dance with the Jr. Charger Girls--a program she enjoyed participating in as a child.
