Charger Girls

Born of Hispanic and Irish decent, Tawnie grew up on a small horse ranch in the beautiful countryside of southern California. Trading in her cowboy boots for a pair of golden poms, Tawnie is honored and thrilled to begin her rookie season with the Charger Girls team.  She is excited to give back to the San Diego community and to interact with Chargers fans. Tawnie attributes her success to her family’s unconditional love and support for her dance and education.  From a young age, her aspiration to provide for her family has been a driving force behind her ambitious pursuit of a college education. Tawnie is in her final semester as double major at San Diego State University, currently pursuing Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising.  Upon completion of her degrees, she intends to further her education with the hopes of achieving her Ph.D. in Psychology. In her free time, Tawnie’s favorite thing to do is spend time with family and friends.  Staying true to her roots, she is a country girl who loves to be outdoors enjoying the beautiful San Diego sunshine. Tawnie is thankful to be a part of Charger Girls team and hopes to inspire San Diego youth to never give up on their goals.
