Tawnie is honored to return for a second season with the San Diego Charger Girls. A Southern California native and a country girl at heart, Tawnie grew up on a small horse ranch just outside the beautiful Temecula wine country. She accredits her humble upbringing and her family’s unconditional love and support for her unrelenting passion to pursue her goals. Tawnie recently accomplished one of her lifelong aspirations when she graduated with honors from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Media Studies. Upon completing her final semester at SDSU, she had the opportunity to collaborate with her professor and 15 fellow students to create and produce HeART on CENTER, an interactive art-walk dedicated to preserving arts education within the San Diego South Bay communities. Tawnie’s favorite part about being a member of the San Diego Charger Girls is working with local charities, including last season’s swimsuit calendar beneficiary--the Wounded Warrior Project. A proud sister to an active duty Army Blackhawk pilot, Tawnie cherishes the many opportunities to bring smiles to the men and women who are serving in the armed forces. Tawnie is proud to be a member of the San Diego community and is ready for another exciting season of Chargers football!
