Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Starkesha received a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Wayne State University. The rising star’s professionalism, dedication and outgoing personality have rewarded her with many opportunities in the Hollywood industry. Her professional resume includes making multiple appearances in television commercials, music videos and live performances. She also spent a season dancing professionally in the NBA. In addition to the excitement of performing, Starkesha is well versed in martial arts, and has trained extensively in Kung Fu, helping to improve coordination, strength and confidence. Starkesha also spends time working with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, motivating younger generations to always believe in themselves and to never give up. She encourages others to live in the moment and is an advocate for teaching others to be grateful for what they have.
