This is Lauren’s fourth season with the San Diego Charger Girls and her second year serving as team captain. Lauren graduated from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. While in college, she was a member of the university's dance team and served as dance coach during her junior and senior year. With her entrepreneurial mentality and over ten years experience in dance instruction, Lauren bought her own mobile dance company franchise in San Diego. Her company travels to local preschools to teach dance, cheer and creative movement on location. She loves working with kids and seeing the positive impact dance can have on children. Most recently, Lauren embarked upon her second business venture with a former Charger Girls teammate. Lauren is the co-owner of a fitness studio, combining ballet barre, yoga and Pilates—three of her favorite fitness disciplines. Her warmth, energy and positive approach to learning help encourage her students to explore dance and fitness in a way they relate to and thrive upon. She enjoys working with the Jr. Charger Girls program every year. The excitement and enthusiasm of the children remind her of her own passion for performing. Lauren is grateful for the opportunity of being selected as the 2012 Pro Bowl Cheerleader last season, where she traveled to Honolulu, Hawaii to represent the Chargers organization. She looks forward to another memorable season with the best team in the NFL. Go Chargers!
