Inspired at a young age by fearless women who accomplished their dreams, Kayla is thrilled to serve as a role model to young women as a first year member of this season’s San Diego Charger Girls. She is honored to meet and interact with fans throughout San Diego and hopes to encourage young women to be ambitious, empower themselves and follow their wildest dreams. Extensively trained in tap, jazz, ballet, musical theatre, and contemporary, Kayla developed her passion for dance and performing at the age of three, and she has continued to share that passion with others working as a dance teacher for preschool children. A first-generation college graduate, Kayla recently earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at California State University, Long Beach. While in college, Kayla was a committed member to various organizations at her University, serving as the Vice President of Membership for her sorority and as a four-year member of the nationally ranked Long Beach State Dance Team. Most recently, Kayla traveled to Portland, Oregon, where she was selected to represent Long Beach State in the 2012 NCAA Tournament. Kayla is currently studying to take the LSAT and will soon be applying to law school where she aspires to become a lawyer concentrating in the fields of domestic and international human rights. Beyond her professional and educational aspirations, Kayla has a love for traveling, live music, great food, and the arts. She also enjoys the water, outdoor activities, and staying active in community affairs. Kayla looks forward to an unforgettable season with the best team in the NFL. GO BOLTS!
