Amanda was born and raised in Riverside, California where she received her extensive dance training starting at the age of four. She represented the United States in Australia where she won the title of “Dancer of the World” in 2006, toured the world dancing on a cruise ship, and was featured in the Top 30 girls on FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance. Amanda continued her dance career in college and received a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from California State University, Long Beach. Amanda uses her passion of movement and exercise in her everyday life. She currently teaches dance and Pilates, choreographs at local high schools and travels internationally judging cheer and dance competitions. Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), Amanda was featured on a segment of ABC7’s Cool Kids for her efforts in teaching sign language to special needs students. This is Amanda's second season as a member of the San Diego Charger Girls, and she was voted "Rookie of the Year" in 2010-2011. Amanda's proudest experience on the team was nominating and granting her charity of choice, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, for the Charger Girls swimsuit calendar proceeds. When Amanda is not dancing or at the beach, she enjoys outdoor adventures such as kayaking, hiking, snorkeling, bungee jumping and rock climbing. Amanda is thrilled to officially call herself a San Diegan! Go Bolts!
