Tickets still available for Sunday’s Chargers-Broncos game

Posted Nov 25, 2011

Following the return of several hundred tickets by the visiting team, a quantity of both general admission tickets and Club tickets remain on sale for Sunday’s game between the Chargers and the Denver Broncos. In addition, a limited number of single-game Luxury Suites are available.

The Chargers’ ticket office at Gate C at Qualcomm Stadium is open Friday from 8-5 pm and Saturday from 10-4 pm.  Tickets also can be purchased online at Chargers.com or by calling 800-745-3000.

Fans attending Sunday’s game will witness the official halftime induction ceremony of former linebacker Junior Seau into the Chargers Hall of Fame.  Seau will be introduced by fellow Chargers Hall of Famer and Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Fouts.  He will be presented with his Hall of Fame statue and, following his remarks, the team will unveil his banner and place in the Chargers’ Ring of Honor in Qualcomm Stadium.

Prior to the game, fans will be treated to the introduction of nearly 100 former players in attendance for the team’s Alumni Weekend.

The game also marks the first time this season that the team will wear the vibrant Charger “Power” (Powder) blue alternate uniforms. The “Power” blues also will be worn on Dec. 18 when the Chargers host the Baltimore Ravens.

Fans are reminded to be careful when purchasing tickets from secondary and unofficial ticket sources.  Counterfeit tickets often look so real that fans don’t find the ticket has been duplicated or is counterfeit until they try to enter the stadium.  Fans still looking for tickets to the game are advised to visit Chargers.com or NFL Ticket Exchange by Ticketmaster. NFL Ticket Exchange is the official ticket marketplace of the NFL and San Diego Chargers and all tickets listed are authentic and guaranteed.
