Bigby started all 11 games for the Chargers at strong safety and was the team’s second-leading tackler with 79 stops. He injured his groin during last Sunday’s game against Baltimore. A seventh-year veteran, Bigby joined the Chargers on a two-year contract after spending six seasons in Green Bay (2005-10) and the 2011 season in Seattle. ![]()
Bird is a 6-4, 250-pound inside linebacker who played in nine games with the Chargers in 2011 after making the squad as an undrafted rookie from Texas Tech. He tallied seven tackles on defense and eight on special teams. He went to training camp with the Chargers in 2012 but was released during final roster cuts in August.
