The San Diego Chargers and AM570 KLAC, Southern California's premier sports station, have teamed up again for the 2009 NFL season.

The San Diego Chargers and AM570 KLAC, Southern California's premier sports station, have teamed up again for the 2009 NFL season.

AM570 KLAC, a Clear Channel Communications station, will be the voice of the Chargers for Los Angeles and Orange County for all of the team’s preseason, regular season and postseason games in 2009.

“Our fan base is growing every day throughout Southern California,” said Chargers Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer Jim Steeg, “and this will assure our fans in Los Angeles and Orange County that they can continue to follow the Chargers on one of the strongest sports stations in their area.”

AM570 KLAC will pick up the flagship broadcast featuring Josh Lewin on play-by-play and Hank Bauer on color commentary.

“It was a winning agreement for all parties last year, so it made great sense for us to team with the Chargers again in 2009,” said Don Martin, General Manager for AM570 KLAC. “We joined hands to produce a great NFL experience for the fans and listeners last year, and Chargers fans can count on us again this season.”

AM570 KLAC has a vast audience and is the flagship home of the UCLA Bruins and the Los Angeles Kings.
