Head Coach Mike McCoy got to know Nanuq, a 2,000-pound beluga whale, up close and personal today.

Rumor has it the 25-year old beluga is considering entering the NFL Draft in April. When asked for comment about various rumors connecting Chargers with Nanuq, McCoy said the only comment the team would have on any potential players would be after the draft.

Some may argue today's SeaWorld visit is to create illusions about Chargers intentions. So this could simply be the groundwork for a smokescreen.

Only time will tell.

McCoy and his family spent Friday, visiting SeaWorld San Diego, roughly one month away from the 2013 NFL Draft.

If Nanuq is draft eligible, do you see him going in the first round? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
