While leading the Chargers to their seventh-consecutive victory, Rivers completed 72 percent of his passes (18-for-25) for 373 yards and two touchdowns, good for a quarterback rating of 140.8. It was his third-highest yardage total of his career and the fourth-consecutive week in which he didn’t throw an interception.
Rivers has thrown at least one touchdown pass in nine consecutive games, tying his career-best stretch. During the team’s current winning streak, Rivers has completed 70.2 percent of his passes for 1,792 yards and 14 touchdown passes to only three interceptions. The win Sunday gave him a career record of 45-21 including the postseason.
