Posted Aug 24, 2014

All the articles, videos, photos and behind-the-scenes access from Sunday’s loss.

Although they fell 21-7 in San Francisco, the mood in the locker room was upbeat following the Chargers’ loss to the 49ers.  Here are all the articles, videos, photos and behind-the-scenes access from Sunday’s game.

The first team defense turned things around in a major way from the previous game, wreaking havoc on Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers.  Corey Liuget spearheaded that cause as the defensive end terrorized the opposition.

One of the best signs of the day was seeing Jason Verrett make his NFL debut.  After the game he addressed how he fared in his first action, and what it was like getting his feet wet.

Meanwhile, Philip Rivers and the first team offense got into a rhythm and showed they’ve picked up right where they left off last seasonAntonio Gates’ big game showed how the future Hall of Famer is a critical to the offense’s success as he recorded a touchdown and key third down conversion.

Other players addressed the media moments after the clock struck zero.  Here is what they had to say.
