Team adds experienced interior OL

SAN DIEGO – Ninth-year guard/center Rex Hadnot agreed to a one-year contract with the Chargers Monday.

Hadnot, 6-foot-2 and 310 pounds, has started 93 of 114 career games for Miami, Cleveland and Arizona. He’s played the most games in his career at right guard, but has also started at left guard and center.

A sixth-round pick for the Dolphins in ’04, Hadnot spent the last two seasons with the Cardinals, starting 16 games at right guard in ’11.

San Diego’s guards currently include Louis Vasquez, Tyronne Green, Brandyn Dombrowski, fifth-round pick Johnnie Troutman and Hadnot.
