Spanos honored with 'Spirit of San Diego Award'

Chargers President Dean Spanos recently received the "Herb Klein Spirit of San Diego Award" from the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce at the organization’s annual awards dinner.


The award is the Chamber’s highest honor for those who have demonstrated leadership to improve the quality of life in San Diego. Past recipients include Qualcomm co-founder Irwin Jacobs and the award’s namesake, former Copley Newspaper executive Herb Klein.
