Chargers wide receiver ![]()

Miguel Lopez; Lemon Grove, Calif.
How did you come up with the nickname Buster or is that your real name?
My grandmother gave me the name when I came home from the hospital. It was a name that she had to call me. The funny part is no one calls me “Craig,” my real name. When I do hear Craig it’s kind of a shock. I can’t remember one time of my parents calling me by my real name. Never!
Brandon Moon; Las Vegas
You have made great plays this season, was there anything you worked on specifically to help your game?
Staying healthy. Bottom line is I know when I am on the field that I can perform. I can be a good player but it’s a matter of me staying on the field. I have a history of making some big plays, coming out of the game, or missing some weeks because of injuries. That hasn’t been the case recently. I am just working my butt off and trying to stay on the field.
Justin Cassarino; Laguna Niguel, Calif.
What inspired you to play football?
Football is a game that I love and grew up playing. Nothing gets me going other than football. I love baseball, but there’s something about the camaraderie and competitiveness of football.
Chris Shaddick; Poplar Grove, Ill.
What was your favorite toy as a child?
It had to be a bike. We went everywhere on bikes as kids, me and my friends.
Patrick Donnelly; Temecula, Calif.
What do you feel is your best quality at receiver?
My speed. When you look at me I don’t think a lot people really know how fast I am. I am deceptive. I’m kind of big, but I am fast for my size.
J.J. Morano; San Diego
Where in New Orleans is your favorite spot to grab some oyster shooters, crawfish or red beans and rice?
Home. In a New Orleans household it’s common for anybody to have crawfish or red beans and rice.
Pike Reitz; Las Vegas
How is it playing for Coach Joiner?
It’s the coolest thing to have a coach that played the game and is one of the greatest ever. It’s a real pleasure and a privilege to play for him. You just try to listen to everything he has to say, especially me.
Rodrigo R.; San Diego
You’ve had to overcome some tough injuries, but what positives did you take from them?
Being consistent and taking care of your body. Coming in early, heating up, (spending time) in the ice tub and getting massages.
Andre Hardesty; Durango, Colo.
What do you guys do off the field? Do you ever get together with your teammates to eat out, or do you all do your own thing?
I am solo person. I stay to myself, at home. I do play playstation, NBA2K11 and Madden. For the most part that’s it.
Tim Gabbard; Antelope, Calif.
What is your main objective as a Charger this year?
To win a Super Bowl is my main goal. My personal goal is to stay healthy for a full 16 games and the playoffs. My last goal is to be consistent, grow in the offense and as a player.
