We continue the series with a scouting report of Central Michigan offensive tackle Eric Fisher.

For the most part, Eric Fisher was an unheralded prospect heading into his senior season at Central Michigan.
An outstanding 2012 campaign put the offensive tackle on scouts’ radar.
His incredible performances at the Senior Bowl and Scouting Combine now have him near the top of many mock drafts, with some projecting him to even be the number one overall pick in April.
Tall, long and athletic, Fisher measures up as an ideal offensive tackle prospect at 6-foot-7, 306-pounds. According to scouts, he still has room to fill out his massive frame, which makes him an even more intriguing prospect.
Fisher is effective on his own in open space as well as in tight confines at the point of impact. With great arm extension and balance, he is able to manhandle defenders who try to bullrush him. At the same time, his quick footwork and impressive agility allows him to keep up with defenders who try to finesse their way past him with speed. Equally important is Fisher’s mindset. In addition to being an intelligent player with a high football IQ, he displays an aggressive demeanor and always finishes his blocks.
While Fisher may hail from a tiny, relatively unknown college, he projects to be one of the major impact players at the highest level when he is drafted early on in the NFL Draft.
