Monday Chargers Report

Posted Oct 22, 2012

It’s a good thing the Chargers got plenty of rest during the bye week as it was a busy Monday here at Chargers Park.

The day kicked off with the team announcing a bevy of moves.  The Bolts signed WR Danario Alexander, formerly with the St. Louis Rams, and placed long-time kicker Nate Kaeding on the reserve/injured list.  The team announced that when Kaeding is healthy, the Chargers will release him.

The Bolts also made a switch on the practice squad, signing rookie WR Kashif Moore out of Connecticut and terminating the contract of Marques Clark.

Following their first practice of the week in preparation for the Browns, head coach Norv Turner faced the media. He opened up by addressing the NFL’s investigation into whether or not the Chargers used an illegal “sticky” substance in the Monday night loss to Denver.

To hear what Turner had to say and for full information on the Chargers transactions, watch Jordan Beane’s Chargers Report below.
