The inside linebacker had a standout career at Michigan, where he amassed 264 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, three sacks, four interceptions, three fumble recoveries and seven passes defensed. The Chargers selected him with their second-round pick in the 2011 Draft, but Mouton suffered a serious shoulder injury in training camp and missed the entire season. He rehabbed hard and had a solid preseason in 2012, recording 12 tackles. He’s an instinctive player who can cover a lot of ground and get to the ball.”
