A San Diego native, Novak spent the majority of the 2011 season with the Chargers, making 27 of 34 attempts for a 79.4-percent conversion rate. He connected from as far out as 53 yards on his way towards proving himself to be a reliant, valuable kicker in the NFL. This preseason, Novak made two of three attempts with the Bolts, including the game-winning 45-yarder as time expired vs. the Minnesota Vikings.
Novak has made 46 of 64 field goals over a five year career with the Chargers, Washington Redskins, Arizona Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs.
