Daily Roundup: Divisional Monday

Posted Jan 6, 2014

Here is your daily roundup of all things Chargers and the playoffs from Monday.

It's been 24 hours since the Bolts took down the Bengals in Cincinnati to advance to the Divisional Round of the playoffs against the Denver Broncos.  On Monday, the team spent the day reviewing the tape from Sunday's win and rehashing the game one last time before focusing completely on the Broncos.

The buzz this morning was about the tremendous fan support the Bolts received when they arrived at Chargers park late last night.  If you missed it, read all about it, breeze through these photos and then watch the video of the memorable homecoming below:

As usual, I offered my weekly five lessons from the past week's game.  Check them out here, then let me know of any you may have to add!

Some of the most popular pieces of content following wins revolves around the post-game locker room.  If you missed McCoy's speech, you can watch it below, then click through 50 photos of the team celebrating the huge win.

If you enjoyed those photos, don't miss these 136 shots from the official team photographer from gameday.  Which is your favorite?

Fans also always enjoy the Calls of the Game from the terrific tandem of Josh Lewin and Hank Bauer.  Click here to watch some of their best from yesterday, then vote for your top choice.

This afternoon, Philip Rivers, Mike McCoy, Melvin Ingram and Eric Weddle all met with the media.  Watch below to hear what they had to say.

Based on the excitement we saw from Chargers fans after the big win in Cincinnati, we are offering the chance to win a trip to Sunday's Divisional Playoff Game in Denver. Find out how you can have the chance to be the lucky winner and on your way to Denver.

The NFL also announced on Monday that Philip Rivers is a finalist for the FedEx Air Player of the Year.  Click here to vote for number 17!

Finally, on a more somber note, the entire San Diego Chargers organization was saddened to hear about the passing of the legendary Jerry Coleman.  Click here to read statements by President Dean Spanos and General Manager Tom Telesco on the Padres great.

Now, you can stay in touch with the team anytime, anywhere, on your mobile device with the official app of the San Diego Chargers.
