Corey Liuget Blog: "Taking Care of Business"

Posted Oct 31, 2013

This week's blog entry comes courtesy of Corey Liuget.

The time off for the bye was great.  Over the weekend I went back to the University of Illinois and for the first time ever I got to sit in the student section and watch a game.  It was wild to experience the college game like that.  Those guys are crazy! It really was great.  I got to sing the alma mater and flip the cards over to create this big graphic.  It was a lot of fun, so go Illini!

But now I’m back here and it’s all about taking care of business. This is a good opponent we’re facing.   It’s a heck of a quarterback they’ve got over there and a pretty good offensive line too.  They are athletic and quick. We really need to get our hands on them and be physical.

For me personally, things are going well.  I had two sacks in the last game against the Jaguars and it’s been a pretty good season overall.  But I’m still waiting for that game to come where I completely take over the game.  So I’m going to keep working and keep fighting each and every week.

I definitely want to thank you guys for Bolting Up every Sunday and getting behind us.  You are true fans, so go Chargers!
