Chargers.com: Your Home for Exclusive Draft Coverage

Posted May 7, 2014

Chargers.com to have wall-to-wall exclusive coverage on Bolts' draft.

The NFL Draft is finally here.

And so is all the Chargers Draft coverage you could ever want right here on Chargers.com, your  destination for exclusive behind-the-scenes access you can’t find anywhere else.

It all starts Thursday with an interview from John Spanos as he arrives at Chargers Park on Day 1 of the Draft. The Bolts’ Executive Vice President of Football Operations will give us his final thoughts before entering the war room.

At 2:00pm, Ricky Henne and Jordan Beane will host a live chat to answer your burning questions. You can submit your questions now, then be sure to jump back on Chargers.com when the chat gets underway.

At 5:00pm, the fun officially begins.  Our team photographer will be stationed in the Chargers War Room moments before the Draft begins to give you an inside look at the Chargers brass in action.

Shortly after the Bolts make each selection, General Manager Tom Telesco will step outside to have a one-on-one interview with our own Nicoletta Ruhl.  This will be your first chance to hear exactly what went into the Chargers decision straight from the source.

Meanwhile, Ricky Henne will have the exclusive first interview with each draftee over the phone moments after they are selected to become a San Diego Charger.  We want you to be part of the action too, so make sure to submit your questions over twitter to @Chargers and @ChargersRHenne. Also be sure to use hashtag #ChargersDraft throughout the entire draft.

Then, taking a deeper dive into each draft pick, John Spanos will take us into the video scouting room in this special Draft edition of Bolts Breakdown where he will dissect the playing attributes of each new Charger.

We’ll have articles, photos and videos throughout the night before Telesco and Coach McCoy address the media in the team meeting room at the end of each day.  You can follow along as we’ll be streaming their entire press conferences live.

Chargers.com will also be giving you the first look at each draftee as he arrives at Chargers Park.  Jordan Beane will go one-on-one with him marking his first video interview as a Charger.  Later on, when each player addresses the media, we’ll once again allow you to view it live only on Chargers.com.

Be sure to bookmark Chargers Draft Central for all our content covering one of the biggest weekends of the year. Lastly, if you aren’t in front of a TV or are on the go, download the official Chargers mobile app for your smartphone or IPad.  It’s all the Bolts exclusive access you love right at your fingertips!

Do you think you know the NFL Draft as well as the analysts? Here’s your chance to prove it.

Now, you can stay in touch with the team anytime, anywhere, on your mobile device with the official app of the San Diego Chargers.
