Chargers sign tackle, practice squad

San Diego signed offensive tackle Adam Terry and signed eight players to the practice squad Sunday.

The San Diego Chargers signed veteran offensive tackle Adam Terry to a one-year contract. No other contract terms were announced. To make room for Terry on the roster, the team released tackle Ryan Otterson.

Terry, 6-8, 335, is in his sixth NFL season. He spent five seasons (2005-09) in Baltimore after joining the Ravens as a second-round draft choice (64th overall) out of Syracuse. He started 18 of 48 regular season games played. He signed as a free agent with Indianapolis in 2010.

The team also signed eight players to its practice squad Sunday: WR Seyi Ajirotutu, RB Curtis Brinkley, QB Jonathan Crompton, TE Dedrick Epps, WR Richard Goodman, C-G Jeff Hansen, T Nick Richmond and LB Kion Wilson.
