The Colts traded Gronkowski to the Broncos on May 23, 2012.
A native of Williamsville, New York, Gronkowski began his collegiate career at the University of Maryland and later transferred to Arizona. He played baseball for the Wildcats in 2006 and joined the football team in 2007.
