Chargers on Passing of Jerry Coleman

The San Diego Chargers were saddened to hear about the passing of the legendary Jerry Coleman.

 
The San Diego Chargers were saddened to hear about the passing of the legendary Jerry Coleman.  On Monday, President Dean Spanos and General Manager Tom Telesco offered their condolences:

Dean Spanos - “I was saddened to hear of Jerry’s passing.  Not only was he a friend to our family and the Chargers, but he was also just one of the nicest men in San Diego.  We have truly lost a gentleman and one of our most iconic sports figures.  My family and I will always remember Jerry Coleman for his huge heart and passionate love of the game.”

Tom Telesco -  “The San Diego Chargers organization would like to extend their deepest condolences to the family of Jerry Coleman and the San Diego Padres. Jerry’s contributions to our country, Major League Baseball, and the City of San Diego are unparalleled. His achievements will never be forgotten.”
