Baxter, a versatile 6-foot-3, 310-pound lineman out of Arizona, played five games with the Chargers in 2011 after joining the active roster on Nov. 19. Prior to that, he played in three games with the New York Jets, including two starts at center. Baxter spent training camp with the Chargers this season before being waived in the final round of cuts on Aug. 31.
Schilling, meanwhile, was a sixth-round draft choice of the Chargers in 2011 out of Michigan. The 6-foot-5, 308-pounder played in nine games last season and had two starts. He saw the majority of playing time at both guard positions. Like Baxter, Schilling was one of the last players waived on Aug. 31.

Molk also suffered his season ending thumb injury against the Bengals. The team’s seventh-round draft choice this past April out of Michigan, Molk has appeared in all 12 of the Chargers’ games but has played sparingly. The majority of his snaps have been on special teams and as an extra lineman in jumbo, short-yardage packages.
