Ajirotutu signed with the Bolts in 2010 as an undrafted rookie free agent. In 10 games, the 6-foot-3, 215-pound receiver caught 13 balls for 262 yards and two touchdowns. He most recently spent the 2011 campaign with the Carolina Panthers. Head coach Norv Turner said Ajirotutu will be able to come in right away and help the team out this Thursday against the Kansas City Chiefs.
“With the injury to Richard Goodman, we need to get someone in here who can play Thursday night,” he said. “Obviously Seyi has been here before and knows what we’re doing. We should be able to get him to where he’s able to function should he’s called upon.”
Goodman injured his hamstring on the opening kickoff of yesterday’s game against the Browns, and will now miss the rest of the season. ![]()
“That is something that we are going to have to take a long look at the next couple of days, and we’ll make a decision then,” said Turner.
