Chargers Re-Sign Wells

The San Diego Chargers announced today they have re-signed guard/tackle Reggie Wells and waived cornerback Greg Gatson.

Wells signed early last week but was released on Saturday when the team called up Gatson from the practice squad.  His presence was needed due to Shareece Wright’s ankle injury leaving them thin in the secondary.

A 10-year veteran, the 6-foot-4, 318-pound Wells has appeared in 117 career games and started 91 of them.
