Chargers Dine with Lucky Season Ticket Members

Posted May 2, 2014

The Bolts continued to dish out special renewal sweepstakes prizes.

The San Diego Chargers are always looking for ways to reward their Season Ticket Members.  This past year the club dished out 200 renewal sweepstakes prizes, and one of the most coveted took place earlier this week.

For the third year in a row a lucky number of winning Season Ticket Members got to dine with members of the Bolts organization.  This year, five sets of winners broke bread with a trio of well-respected veterans in Nick Hardwick, Jeromey Clary and Jarret Johnson at Donovan’s. While it is an experience the winners will never forget, it is also an opportunity the players relished as well.

“Season Ticket Members are very important to us,” said Johnson.   “It’s good to be able to meet with those who support us and get their perspective. It’s great to hear what they are concerned about.  It was a nice dinner.”

A wide variety of longtime fans were in attendance ranging in longevity from 1979-2004.  That included 93-year old Bob Hulter, and Johnson explained how seeing the passion in his eyes for the Chargers fired him up.

“That was cool!” the linebacker said. “He’s been a fan forever.  He had some interesting thoughts on the team.  He was just an interesting guy, loved life, and was a pretty compelling man.”

The Donovan’s dinner comes on the heels of another recent coveted prize as Season Ticket Member Joe Patrico won the trip of a lifetime.  The big Bolts fan heads to New York next week to announce the team’s fourth-round draft choice from the floor at Radio City Music Hall.

Be sure to learn about all the unique benefits that come with being a Chargers Season Ticket Member.
