SAN DIEGO – More than 400 dancers will audition for the Charger Girls, with the first portion of auditions to commence Sunday.
A three-day process helps determine the 28-member team, which performs at every home game and makes dozens of community appearances during the year.
Registration is set for 9 a.m. at the University of San Diego’s Jenny Craig Pavilion. A preliminary dance audition starts at 10 a.m.
Sanchez, a San Diego native, twice sang the national anthem at Qualcomm Stadium and is one of seven finalists on the show.
