Bolt to the Q this Sunday

Posted Jul 14, 2014

A limited number of spots left for the fourth annual Kaiser Permanente Bolt to the Q being held this Sunday.

One of the Chargers’ summer staples takes place this Sunday with the Fourth Annual Kaiser Permanente Bolt to the Q at Qualcomm Stadium.  The 5K race, along with the kids’ fun run, has quickly become a signature event, and an extremely limited number of spots are still available.  Chargers' fans can sign up for the event online until July 16, 2014. Race Day registration will be available at the stadium if the event has not sold out.

All participants receive a Nike Tech race t-shirt and commemorative finisher medal.  The race begins at Qualcomm Stadium and ends on the 50-yard line, and runners can watch themselves cross the finishing line on Bolt Vision.  Be sure to look out for Ryan Mathews and the Charger Girls, who will be congratulating runners as they cross the finish line.

Afterwards, there will be a post-race tailgate party in the Q with free beer for those participants 21 and over.  The Bolt to the Q begins at 7:30am while the Chargers Play 60 Fun Run, a half mile race, begins at approximately 9:15 am.

For more information on the Bolt to the Q 5K or to register visit Chargers5k.com.
