Altogether, the Bolts signed five linemen heading into the offseason program, including King Dunlap, Orlando Franklin, Trevor Robinson, Michael Huey and Chris Hairston.
Now, they’ve agreed to terms with another as former St. Louis Rams tackle Joe Barksdale agreed to terms on a one-year contract.
Barksdale has appeared in 51 games with 34 starts since entering the league in 2011. Originally a third round pick (92nd overall) by the Oakland Raiders out of LSU, the 6-5, 326-pound veteran joined the Rams off waivers in 2012. He blossomed over the past two seasons, appearing in every game with 29 starts at right tackle, including all 16 in 2014.
The Chargers waived tackle Bryce Quigley in a corresponding move.
