Chargers to Thank Fans on Monday
The San Diego Chargers will be hitting the streets in force on Monday afternoon, June 16 to thank San Diego and Chargers fans for their support. The players, Charger Girls and members of the organization made a similar commitment a year ago, heading out in groups to North County, South Bay and East County while also making numerous stops throughout the City of San Diego. The groups will be thanking fans for supporting the team and building excitement for the upcoming season.
“Last year’s ‘Thank You San Diego Day’ was such a hit that we’re heading out again on Monday to say thank you to Chargers fans and get them ready for the season,” said A.G. Spanos, the team’s chief executive officer. “We can feel the optimism in the air about this season and the possibilities that lie ahead, and we want our fans to feel that same excitement.”
Visits will take place from app. 12:00-3:30 pm. The locations and times for these stops will be a surprise, however fans will get up-to-the-minute updates on the players’ scheduled visits by following the team on Twitter, Facebook and Chargers.com.
